Paula Tuttle
Paula Tuttle performs with several arts organizations in the Pittsburgh area including the Pittsburgh Opera, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, TJL Productions MyMusic (PBS oldies shows), and more.
As director of Chambersite, she produces concerts and media for the Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra, a charitable non-profit 501(c) (3) organization. PFO serves the community promoting live music, music education, and supporting the musicians of the Pittsburgh area.
She created and performs in several chamber music ensembles including:
- The Zaffiro Trio (with Tina Faigen, piano, and Mary Beth Malek, clarinet) performs classical works and commissioned works for the piano-clarinet-cello chamber group.
- The Diamante Trio (with Juan Jaramillo, violin, and Mary Beth Malek, clarinet) – in a rare grouping of instruments – commissions pieces from arrangers including Ralph Guzzi and Matthew Naughtin. Diamante Trio performs world music, Latin Pop, and a rich repertoire of music by Latin American composers. The Trio performs with Lilly Abreu, soprano, and produced a CD in 2018 of Latin Pop tunes arranged by Ralph Guzzi. Click for more about the No More Blues CD.
- The Quartz String Quartet (with Ellen-Maria Willis and Juan Jaramillo on violin, Louise Farbman on viola) plays classical string quartet repertoire.

Expanding on the Diamante Trio, Paula assembled the Diamante Orchestra, an eight-piece ensemble that features the Diamante Trio, and adds Ralph Guzzi, trumpet and arranger, Kevin Clark, piano, George Perilli, drums, and Brian Stahurski, bass – and Paula on cello. A fusion of classical orchestral musicians and accomplished jazz players, this group plays popular rock, jazz, classical crossover, and the Diamante repertoire of Latin Pop.

As a music educator, Paula teaches cello at University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and Chatham University.
